Just like other new trend of kopitiams,  Kemaman Kopitiam provides free wi-fi, flat screen tv and nice cosy ambience. From the colorful and descriptive menu, we opted for a glass of Kemaman kopi ais  and a bowl of Kemaman Special Curry Mee. Our dinner cost us RM17++.

for an avid coffee drinker like me, this powerful drink is so aromatic that make me wanna have a cup in a plastic container.

huge serving in a thick + spicy coconut milk (lethargic), prawns (not fresh), taufoo puff, slices of brown squid, 1/2 boiled egg, chunks of boiled chicken  meat, mixture of mee + vermicelli's. no cockles at all.

After checking out from our hotel nearby Teluk Cempedak,  we had breakfast in Restoran Hoi Yin, famous for its curry mee.  It was close to 12 noon, the restaurant was packed to the brim with customers patiently waiting for diner to vacate their seats.   We got our table quite fast by sharing with a lady who seem enjoying a hot bowl of noodles.

After waited for almost 30 minutes,  our order finally arrived.

Came with generous amount of cockles, fried taupok, chicken meat, slices of fish cake, beansprout and yellow noodles in a pool of  curry coconut milk (RM4) which is not spicy enough to satiate me.


If you ask me which one I prefer, I would say Restoran Hoi Yin but ultimately, my vote still goes to my all time favourite i.e. Penang Curry Mee...best in the world!
