FOOD EVERYWHERE....HONG KONG

FAIRWOOD RESTAURANT (Chinese & Western cuisine)

ambiance & setting is bright and cheerful....luv the orange colour

Set of Beef Curry + Lime Juice ....curry was flavorful and fragrant



Set of spaghetti with fish fillet....tangy sauce but fish meat texture was overcooked

Spicy Kimchi Soup Noodle.... soup was overpowered by the terribly hot kimchi .... able to warm up your body esp at night


infamous springy wanton noodles with big fresh shrimp dumplings




Pig Intestines Porridge
smooth porridge filled with big slices of soft pig liver and tasty sizable meatballs




CDC or Cafe De Coral





Set of Soup Vermicelli's + Bacon + Egg with a glass of milk teasoup tasted bland...a big dissappointment

LAMMA...... awesome seafood

Lamma is a beautiful and stunning island filled with greens and surrounded by scenic hills and serene beach. I shall rave more about the island in my next post. As at now, I am sharing with you the awesome and sumptuous seafood we had after two hour of walking & hiking in the island.



amongst all the seafood restaurant, this eatery is highly recommended due to its affordable price and freshness

boiled escargot.. meat was sweet and need no sauce for dipping



stir fried crab with sliced ginger and spring onion

absolutely tasty flesh



steamed abalone with light soya sauce

non pretentious...... juicy, tender and succulent....drooling now


crunchy greens to balance up our meal





Baked Mantis Prawns with Salt & Pepper ......look at the size! meat was delicate and firm in texture

Total meal was HKD789 including 2 free boat pass back to the mainland


Our dessert was full of Awe!!!



soft beancurd with ginger sugar (HKD4)....silky smooth as though slurping yoghurt


similar as our local ice cream i.e Walls



Red Bean Sweet Cake(HKD3)...right amount of sugar and with soft and fragrant red beans
