KOREA....The Beauty in Yongjin Everland

I was in Korea for a vacation in mid of  Nov last year.  I have been looking forward to this trip as I wanted to enjoy the beautiful scenery and cold weather in the country. And, yes, the weather was up to my expectation...sunny, cool and slight downpour at times.

This is going to be a long post , first let me share with you the beautiful decoration and colorful  Disney street performance in Yongjin Everland.

In order to cross over to the theme park, we  took a free shuttle bus which is about 8 minutes journey. (photo right)

Horror Village

The pre christmas street performance caught us by surprise while on our way to take the cable car.  We were full of awe seeing and watching the colorful musical performance in the cool evening.

After being swayed away with the street performance, we took a cable car ride down to the main entrance.  Upon reaching, astonishing and brightly lighted up christmas trees turned the park into a dream land.

truly magnificent...

HO! HO! HO!

WISHING EVERYONE
A MERRY CHRISTMAS 2011
....full of blast!

(To The Tune "I'll be Home for Christmas") -by D M Goldstein

I'll be Cloned for Christmas,
There’ll be three of me;
One to Work, and One to Shop,
And One just for Parties.

Christmas Eve, I'm certain,
I won't be alone;
I'll be home for Christmas,
Or else I'll send a Clone!

X'MAS CHARITY HIGH TEA WITH AGATHIANS SHELTER HOMES

"Agathians Shelter is an orphanage for boys that was initiated in 2003 by a team of young adults. It was set up to save a group of children from being turned out to the street and to provide a home for them. The children are from various backgrounds; some are orphaned, some only have a single parent who can't afford to feed them and others are either abandoned or neglected. It currently houses 30 children. Agathians Shelter is a Non Govermental Organisation (NGO) therefore, is very much dependent on public and corporate contributions. " Address: No. 17, Jalan Tengas 8/8, Seksyen 8, Petaling Jaya , 46050 , Selangor. Telephone: 03-7954 1680

On 12 December 2009 at Eccucino, The Management and Staff of Prince Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur together with its Prince Residents' Ladies Club at the Prince's Serviced Apartments led by Mrs Pilar Palma-Pezar hosted a Christmas Brunch for the boys. This is an annual community project organized by the hotel to share the special festive moments with all the children and caretakers from Agathians Shelter Home as well as an opportunity for the children to visit the hotel.

A host of activities such as decorating gingerbread man, face painting and appearance of a Clown cheered up the boys.

The occasion was made more joyous when the Prince Residents' Ladies Club, led by Executive Chef DJ's wife prepared 'Shoe Boxes' X'mas gifts to each of the boy.
