EXQUISITE SUPPER @ THB800

 

Apart from sightseeing, we also signed up for two hours Thai body massage @THB50 and also THB800 for exquisite supper. All this booking was made one day in advance by our tour guide. 

After two hours of  soothing yet relaxing Thai body massage, we were driven in a mini van for a three meal exquisite supper. Located just right across the road to the beautiful beach of Pattaya, this restaurant operates till 1am daily and is a hit among tourist. And oh my, it was packed with customers when we arrived there. But our order was served immediately once we sat down. 

Double Boiled Bird's Nest with Coconut
every scope of spoon is filled with gelatin texture of bird nest coupled with soft & sweet coconut flesh + gingko + red dates.

Stir Fried So Hoon with Crabs
crab was really meaty, sweet and succulent, go well with aromatic + pepprish soo hoon



Braised Shark's Fin Soup
came in a piping hot claypot and garnished with beansprout and spring onions...totally a different version which I usually consumed.  A whole big piece of tender shark's fin in a flavoured soup.

After our hearty supper, we were sent back to our hotel and called it a day.

It was hot and humid weather cruising in the morning. However, the windy sea breeze and beautiful landscape with scenic view took our breath away. Let the photos do the talking...

Sriracha Zoo - PIG RACING & TIGER

Who says Pig are stupid? According to a survey, Pigs are perhaps the 4th most intelligent animal on the planet, though there could be flaws in that because some people will argue they are stupid, but stubborn could be a better word for it. They can also be taught fairly complicated tricks, and due to the fact they are more intelligent than your dog, the tricks can be fairly complicated. They can solve simple mind problems. 

Dont' believe this myth?  Watch out for yourself to get the answer during Pig racing with human and also Pig do mathematics calculation where a question is set and she will pick the correct answer. Yup, seeing is believing!

Indeed, Tiger and Pig can live together peacefully, agree??

After watching these interesting animal shows, you can walk around the  beautifully landscaped gardens to enjoy the vibrant and colorful flowers in the natural surroundings.

Sriracha Zoo - ELEPHANT SHOW

It was my first time seeing real and gigantic size of elephants.  This herbivore is Thailand national symbol and contributes its role significantly to the country's tourism. Elephant shows and ride are few of the main attraction in this zoo.

Sriracha Zoo - CROCODILE SHOW & SATAY

During my recent vacation in Bangkok, one of the itinerary included a trip to Sriracha Tiger Zoo in Pattaya. This animal 'kingdom' houses large collection of tigers, crocodiles, pigs, and all sorts of other animals in a lush tropical garden .   

One of the must to watch performance is the crocodile show. It was amazing and fascinating looking at the boy and girl handling those live alligators.

Before the show, we bought 5 sticks  of crocodile satay @ THB100  from a stall located just nearby the entrance.

end result....sprinkled with chilies flakes & sesame seed

A friend who had tasted this reptile meat told me it's like eating chicken meat. After a bite, I could not even finish one whole stick of satay. The smells, toughness and bland taste of the meat immediately kill my tastebud. But my travel buddy seems to enjoy it after series of chewing battle.
