We made a detour to Bentong while on the way back from Kuantan. I have patronised this restaurant many years back but forgotten how to get there. After eating Ba Kut Teh and chicken rice at the stall behind the wet market, we asked the BKT boss on the direction and co incidently, the owner of this restaurant selling exotic food arrived in time and he gave us this name card with map.

snake soup (RM15)
looks like chicken meat rite? but, its actually snake flesh and very chunky.
just like eating shark fin's soup, I added few table spoons of black vinegar to bring out sourish yet fragrant taste |
|
stir fried black pepper mountain goat meat (RM20)
very pepperish and aromatic...each bite of meat was tender and easy to chew |
|
stir fried paku pakis with dried prawns (RM8)
crunchy and fresh |
There are many other exotic dishes which you can order such as braised bear paw, curry tiger meat, double boiled terrapin/tortoise soup and etc. We wanted to order more but there is no more space in our tummy due to earlier pre-dinner at the wet market.
