All of us were in Penang for a night stay to explore and indulge hawkers food and also sight seeing in the beautiful Straits Quay.
East Coast BBQ captured my immediate attention when we reached Sungai Pinang food court. |
assorted fresh seafood |
After you picked your choice of seafood, this is the section where the chef will cook your food by barbecuing only! |
Our pick....BBQ fresh scallop top with aromatic chopped garlic + chilies sauce. sweet and huge in size..awesome |
BBQ Spicy Tiger Prawns... meaty and tasty Both BBQ Scallop + Prawns cost RM34 |
Penang Hokkien/Prawn Mee (RM4) Soup lack of flavor but the fish balls and prawns was fresh |
Fried Oyster/Oh Chien (RM6) Plump and juicy oysters...however the omelette not soft enough for my liking After dinner, we headed to Straits Quay in Seri Tanjung Pinang for a short sight seeing. |
a beautiful view at nite! |
Have not been to both places. Certainly hope to do so someday...Will be stopping by a lot, I guess, when my daughter goes back to SP next year for her final year.
ReplyDeleteU must go la! Btw, SP is booming but I never make any attempt to drop by due to busy 'makan' schedule.
