Many times, my hiking friends and I wanted to have Hong Kong dim sum brekkie in Restoran Jin Xuan in Puchong . But the long queue have deterred us evident of brisk business and delish food.
One fine evening and without any plan, we simply drove to Puchong and passed by this restaurant. It was a relief feeling to see no queue outside the restaurant. Immediately, we parked our car and set our heart to the eatery. This is my first time having dim sum for dinner.
Boiled Sea Coconut with American Ginseng & Red Dates .....indeed refreshing with soft pieces of sea coconut |
Salted Shrimp Scallop ...crispy on the outer layer and moist inner with juicy prawns + scallops + egg yolk |
Wantan Noodles ........came with a small bowl of fresh prawns wanton soup, the noodles was chewy + springy with charred char siew |
Marmite Spare Ribs .... a tad too sweet caramelized sauce infused tender meat |
Mixed Seafood Dumpling ....fresh prawn + scallop enveloped inside the translucent skin |
Green Mussels Cheese ... decent melted cheese flowing on top of succulent mussels + shrimps |
Golden Bun ...perfect filling of slightly salty egg yolk and sweet custard |
Total bill came to RM55. A satisfying dinner indeed.

ReplyDeleteEverything looks somewhat different from the usual dim sum fare...
ReplyDeleteIt's actually Hong Kong dim sum and a hit among KL folks esp those staying in Puchong.
