This 25.5 m tall leaning tower or known as Menara Condong in Teluk Intan, Malaysia is similar to the world-famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, Italy. Built in 1885, this look alike 8 storeys tower which is 3 different level only and slanted leftward ( because of the soft ground on the base of the tower and the weight of the water tank) is located right at the heart of the Teluk Intan town centre and is a must for those who are visiting the state of Perak.
First time entering this attraction with historical pictures hanging on the wall and we took less than 15 minutes to walk up to the top and came out from the building.
Since we are not similar with Teluk Intan town and upon recommendation from the local, we drove to the Pasar Basar/Wet Market hunting for local delicacies but sadly most of the food stalls has wrapped up for the day business. As we were leaving the market which is opposite San Min School, saw a rojak stall at a corner with beeline of customers and paved our way there.
'Ho Chiak' was here too!
compulsory greens for rojak...
Cool fresh coconut water + grass jelly drink @ RM1 per glass
This plate 'healthy' salad are filled with array of fruits i.e. cut turnip/sengkuang, cucumber, mango, guava + brown squid and mixed together with prawn paste, sprinkled with crusted peanuts and fried crackers. Personally, I would still prefer Penang rojak i.e thicker prawn paste + belacan powder + boiled cut egg.
