What is Pan Mee? It is a type of chinese noodle using a manual machine to pull and cut the dough flour into strings of noodles.
A friend of mine who loves eating pan mee pulled me along (eventhough I dislike pan mee) to enjoy this speciality during a weekend lunch. After 20 minutes drive from Puchong, we reached Restoran Kin Kin which is located along Chow Kit road and back off Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman.
The restaurant was packed but luckily we managed to get a table in less than 5 minutes. According to her, the restaurant speciality is spicy pan mee besides the soup version. We ordered 2 bowls (RM5.50 each) of this speciality.
A bowl of clear soup with tapioca leaves..very freshing
a bowl of pan mee comes with crispy fried anchovies, minced pork, 1 egg poarched, fried onions and spring onions....... perfect combination
chili flakes to make spicy up your bowl of noodles
mixing the chili flakes with pan mee
I put 5 tablespoon of the chili flakes into my bowl of noodles and it was terribly spicy but full of OOMph. However my tolerance level failed and have to ask for a big bowl of soup .
