SHABU-SHABU BUFFET STYLE

It was nice having lunch and catched up with Gill & Jason during my trip back to Penang last year. This friendly hubby & wife team strongly recommended Tsurukame located at 3rd Floor, Queesbay Mall, Penang. I do admit this restaurant served lots of high quality food which is value for money compared with my 'worst' dining experience in Rest Tao @ E-Gate, Penang.

We were spoilt with the variety selection of sushi, kim-chi, fried stuffs, salad, fruits, dessert and most importantly good soup to complement with quality ingredients for shabu-shabu .

I love the ambiance and restaurant setting where you can opt to sit and eat facing the mall or the sea.

We kicked start the afternoon by partaking on the buffet spread before satisfying our tummies with the DIY Japanese steam boat and two type of soups i.e plain and kiam chye (salted vegetables).

assorted sushi...fresh

different types of kim chi...tantalizing

fried stuff, fruits & salad counter

our fave was the hot & crispy fried chicken wing and fish

soup for the steam boat

condiments....chopped parsely, garlic and chili padi

plates of fresh ingredients on the conveyor belt

seats facing the mall

dessert ...ice cream
look at our table....so much food

happy tummies ....happy faces ((^_^))
