MALAYSIA DAY: TANJUNG SEPAT

Our next agenda after lunch was visiting and buying stuffs in Tanjung Sepat famous for steamed chinese buns, mushrooms and fried crackers.

HAI YEW HENG is well known for producing delicious steamed chinese buns. The business is brisks evident by the large crowd and huge beeline in the shop. So, pre booking is compulsory or else you will be turn away by the aunty/uncle. However, if you wish to eat the bun in the coffee shop, you will be restricted to buy 2 buns only. And if you aren't lucky on that day, get ready to be scolded by the seller before he can sell 'the gems' to you. We got ourselves 5 'moy chow' steamed buns at RM1.80 each.

the steamed bun/pau was soft but the 'moy choy' filling was too dried
