NAAB -PERSIAN IRANIAN FOOD

Thanks to Perut Besi for extending this invitation to me. My first time attending Persian Iranian food tasting housed inside NAAB,  situated directly opposite The Fahrenheit and steps away to The Grand Millenium Hotel.

"Persian or Iranian cuisines are commonly associated with Middle Eastern. Typical Persian main dishes are combination of rice with meat, lamb, chicken, or fish and the taste are balanced with saffron, dried limes, cinnamon, parsley and other Persian flavorings."

There are 6 VIP rooms available for private functions. Prices vary depending on room size, food & beverage and etc.

During the Ramadhan month,NAAB offers buffet dinner daily. Otherwise, it's only open upon request.

Diners can opt to sit outdoor overlooking the ever busy Golden Triangle. The breezy wind will make you want to sit there longer after your meal!

There were extensive of  mains, appetizers and desserts served during that night. Honestly,  I find it hard to decide what to eat first. In the end, I took a little of everything to try.

        Assorted Cold Salad
Saffron Rice...
Various types of soup
Gherymeh Stew..
eat together with rice instead of naan bread
Lamb Koobideh BBQ
Naab Spinach Roll Chicken

My 1st palate
Hot Iranian Tea
(the way to enjoy tea is by putting a cube of sugar into your mouth and then digest it with the tea)

I love the saffron rice..fragrant and grainy. Fried siakap fish was meat juicy &crisps while the stewed lamb shank simply melts in the mouth.

2nd Plate
Naan Bread topped with basil leaves + cheese + walnut
(this is the correct way of  indulging naan but you can add on other sauces/condiment)

Amongst all the soup, Barley soup ( in yellow on the left) was indeed star of the nite. Tasted almost like our dhal gravy..aromatic.

Sweet Ending!
if you have sweet tooth...you must take a bite  cos' it authentic Iranian dessert.

  1. Always stayed in the area whenever in KL last time but never tried the mid-eastern food! Must drop by the next time around. Discount valid for how long?

  2. If not mistaken, the offer no longer available after Hari Raya! The chicken burger is worth trying...even it cost you more.
