DRAGON-I

Lunch treat by my immediate boss during CNY. Brisk business evident by full house of people eating, laughing and chatting away. Luckily we got our table before 1pm or else have to wait at the door entrance.

Hot Jasmine Flower Tea...
the flower 'blossomed' after 5 minutes
Ice Jasmine Tea with Lemon Grass
simply refreshing overpowered by strong smell of cut lemon grass
Signature 'Xi Long Bao'
burst with non oily pork juice
**A must to have**
I still remember vividly my first visit to Shanghai few years ago, I joined a long queue to buy a giant size XLB in a tourist spot. With a given straw, I pooked open the centre of the dumpling and tried the soup...oh my it was too oily and smelly and it went immediately into a dustbin.
Fried Seafood La Mian
overall full of wok hei with fresh slices of fish, squids and medium size prawns
**A must to order...famous shanghai la mian**
Claypot Seafood Beancurd
slightly pepperish with load of squids, mushroom and beancurd cut in pieces
Smoked Fish Shanghai Style
tasted too sweet and tad hard
Steamed Egg Yolk Custard Bun
piping hot and stuffed with sweet + savoury custard made of egg yolk
**A must to indulge**
