G7 COFFEE

Reputable and famous in Vietnam, I asked my friend to get me few packets of  the country infamous G7 coffee and rice paper during his working trip.  He came back with what I wanted. Below are my discoveries:-

G7 -2 in 1 Instant Coffee  (RM7.60)
Once I unsealed the packet, I can smell the fragrance of the ground coffee mixed with sugar. When I pour hot water into the mix, it creates a very strong and aromatic sensation.  I took a sip and as soon as it reaches my tongue, I stop cos' I forgotten to add in milk powder which is a must whenever I drink coffee. After adding milk powder, I slowly take a good wiff and sip and it tasted sharp and delicate..suits my tastebuds.

G7 - 3 in 1 instant coffee (RM12.30)
After completing the process of pouring and mixing hot water with a sachet , mild flavor of the coffee touches my nose. When it reaches my tounge, it tasted very light and wild..not 'kau'/thick enough. Huh, I give this a pass..still prefer our Nescafe 3 in 1.

a must when I need to open my eyes BIG

  1. Hi, I love Vietnamese coffee too, and have it fairly often when I have their Pho beef noodles. Love their iced coffee.
You have fun, enjoy the coffee.

  2. My niece bought me two brands of coffee from Vietnam and in the end, I ended up throwing them away. Prefer our own Sibu roasted (in butter) and freshly-ground coffee anytime.

  3. You threw it away...what a waste! Should have pass it to me, if I know you earlier.
