It has been quite awhile since we stopped eating dim sum due to the high content of cholesterol found in each dumplings made with at least 80% of pork meat .
Our recent visit to Pat Kin Pat Sun Cafe was to savour their value for money/meal set promotion. However, we could not resist our temptation when we saw assorted dim sum here (pic below) .
After browsing through the colorful menu , we finally settled for 4 types of dim sum and 3 set of meal which comes with free drinks and soup.
SALAD PRAWNSour fave!the skin which was crispy outside and tender inside + stuffed with fresh prawns.

IPOH HOR FUN WITH SLICED CHICKEN + PRAWN
the soup would taste better with fried garlic oil and more pepper. overall with the amount of sliced chicken meat and 5 medium size prawns, it's certainly value for money.
CURRY NOODLE
the curry gravy was awesome with right quantity of coconut milk used in whipping this bowl of yellow mee with chunks of chicken meat + cockles + bean curd.
WATER CHESTNUT SOUP for Honey Chicken Rice Set one sipped and it will definitely turn you off......extremely high content of MSG
HONEY CHICKEN RICE
the fried chicken fillet was palatable but the honey gravy was TOO SALTY... a big disappointment.
The restaurant is usually packed during weekends. Free Wifi is available too. Ample of parking outside the restaurant.
