HO CHI MINH ESCAPADE- DAY 1 (CHO KIM BIEN MARKET)

From Ben Thanh Market, we went to Cho Kim Bien Market in a taxi within 45 minutes.

This is a wholesale market famous for textiles, toys, electrical appliances, handphones and etc.

This market does not attract us at all to shop or roam, thus we left early to have early dinner.

OUR DINNER
Special Phnom Penh Rice Noodles (VND35,000)
superb...the rice noodles was fresh topped with slices of pork liver, meat, fish ball and garnished with lots of fried garlic and spring onion

Fresh Rolling Rice Paper with Meat (VND30,000)
similar as 'chee cheong fun' in Malaysia but served with assorted type of sausages and garnised with fried onions and coriander leaves.

Chinese Rolling Meat (VND40,000)
also known as 'dim sum'..generous amount of minced pork stuffed inside a silky dough skin

On the way walking back to our hotel, we stopped at a small stall and had a plate of fried spicy snails (VND30,000) and a bottle of beer (USD1).

cheers for making it to Saigon.....
