CHEONG TZE FATT MANSION - LEITH STREET, PENANG

My friend who loves art and heritage suggested that we visit Cheong Tze Fatt Mansion which is a blue colour mansion currently used a hotel cum museum as part of the restoration project in Penang.

This heritage mansion have won several awards namely 2000 UNESCO Most Excellent Heritage Conservation Award, Best Tourist Attraction 2003 and ASEANTA 2004 Excellence Award.

Everyday, there will be historical tours on the mansion and museum at 9.30am and 3pm respectively for RM12 per pax.

While we were taking photos at the front entrance, few taxi drivers told us not to waste money joining the tour as there is nothing much too see. And so we left the place and move on to our next destination.
